The National Wine Fair (FENAVIN), which will celebrate its eleventh edition on, 11 and 12 in Ciudad Real, once again includes in its program of activities the category of Technical and Institutional Conferences, a space dedicated to exhibition of technological innovations, scientific advances, research agreements, presentations and awards ceremony.
Sponsored by Santander Agro, these Conferences will begin on Tuesday the 10th, the day in which ten presentations will be held, four of them Industry Email List organized by the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) under the umbrella of the Technical Conference of the University of Castilla-La Mancha. La Mancha Technological Innovation: R&D&I capabilities of the UCLM in the wine sector that will be moderated by Mª del Carmen Pérez, director of the Results Transfer Office (OTRI-UCM), from to in the 'Aula 3. Cervantes'.
The opening presentation of this Conference will be Technological innovations to increase the quality of wines, in which José Pérez Navarro, researcher at the UCLM, will address the different lines of research being developed by the Enology and Natural Products Group of the UCLM faces the new challenges of the wine sector and achieves an increase in the quality of wines.
Afterwards, Francisco Jesús García, from the School of Agricultural Engineers of Ciudad Real; José Ángel Amorós, professor and doctor at UCLM, and UCLM researchers Caridad Pérez and Sandra Bravo will talk about how viticultural soils can be converted, using appropriate techniques, into CO2 sinks. In the presentation, titled CO2 sequestration in wine-growing soils. Campo de Calatrava Zoning will explain that this ecosystem service can contribute to alleviating the greenhouse effect and also provide complementary income for the winegrower.
Subsequently, it will be the turn of the UCLM researcher Carlos Alonso, who will present the technology-based company of the University of Castilla-La Mancha “CO2-AFP” that is developing a strategy for the capture of CO2 from the alcoholic fermentation process towards the obtaining one of the most demanded products in the world, Solvay soda, protected through patent PCT/EP2021/081289 and with which the aim is to provide a comprehensive service towards the incorporation of this strategy in the wine sector. CO2-AFP Strategy: a socioeconomic and industrial revolution in the wine sector is the title of the presentation.
Finally, the Seminar - Workshop: Neuromarketing and wine: applications and possibilities will be held, which will focus on publicizing the new benefits that neuroscience applied to marketing can provide to wineries. Taught by UCLM researchers Miguel Ángel Gómez Borja, Carlota Lorenzo and Marta Retamosa, the workshop will focus on explaining why there are areas of labeling that arouse greater interest or “engagement” among its target audience. Attendees participating in this demonstration will learn first-hand how Eye Tracking neuroscientific technology works.
Next, in this same Classroom, at 12 noon, the Presentation of the wines and spirits awarded in the "VII awards for wines and spirits of the province of Seville" organized by the Association of Wine and Spirits Producers of the Province will take place. of Sevilla.
